In the eighth episode of “Travels With Charlie – Vermont Politics in Real Life,” host Charlie Papillo discusses media and print journalism with veteran local reporters Mike Donoghue and Guy Page.
As Charlie and his guests mill around the Burlington Free Press newsroom, they discuss the rapidly changing news industry, addressing topics such as the uncertain future of print media, the distinction between news and commentary, and the continuing need for local coverage in a global digital news environment.
