Lawsuits from detransitioners — people who once identified as transgender but now regret medically transitioning — could bring the child sex change industry to a halt by making it too financially risky to administer cross-sex medications and surgeries to minors.
Some of the nation’s largest school districts require students to receive parental permission for over-the-counter medication but not when changing their gender at school, according to a Wednesday report.
“S.37 and H.89 propose to codify gender-affirming care as the only type of care for minors experiencing gender dysphoria and incongruence. Meanwhile countries in Europe are now reassessing and changing their standards of care due to negative impacts of exclusively gender-affirming care.”
“The entire bill calls horrifying brutality something nice. This bill is about so-called gender-affirming care — that is, chemical and physical castration and mutilation of children. It passed the House with 24 of 38 Republicans voting in favor of it.”

On Friday, Feb. 10, the Vermont House of Representatives approved H.89, a bill that aims to shield patients and providers from prosecution in states where abortion or gender-related procedures are illegal. Just 13 state representatives voted no to the bill.

H.89 looks to shield patients and providers from prosecution in states where abortion or gender-related procedures are illegal. Utah legislators recently passed a bill banning minors from accessing gender-affirming procedures, joining more than 20 other states considering similar restrictions.
A House lawmaker this week introduced a bill to protect the “academic freedom of public educators” who teach their personal beliefs regarding gender, race and other controversial topics in Vermont’s schools.
The bill seeks to shield reproductive health and gender-affirming providers and out-of-state persons seeking care in Vermont from “abusive litigation” from other states in which legislation and judicial judgments regarding these types of care conflict with Vermont’s.
Two members of the Office of Legislative Counsel sat in with the Senate Health and Welfare Committee on Tuesday morning to discuss a bill that would impact abortion and sex change policies, especially as it pertains to the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.
