Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to speak at Gen. John Stark Lectures June 21

As part of its Gen. John Stark Lectures, the Ethan Allen Institute is proud to present a dinner with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a noted environmentalist and advocate of individual liberty.

Mr. Kennedy is a prolific and best-selling author, a nationally-syndicated radio host, and a frequent television commentator. He has been a traditional skeptic of government power–much like Thomas Jefferson was in his time.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

The Ethan Allen Institute is pleased to give Mr. Kennedy a platform in the state to speak. We are especially interested to learn more about his views on free market and economically fair solutions to climate issues. Our concern this past legislative session in Montpelier was that the Affordable Heat Act was not market based and would punish our middle and low income population. We hope we can find new avenues to explore within structured climate solutions based upon Mr. Kennedy’s perspective and insights on the energy issue.

What: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. speaking on the topic “Climate, Markets, and Economic Fairness” over seated dinner as part of the Gen. Stark Lectures hosted by the Ethan Allen Institute.

When/Where: At 6:00 pm on JUNE 21 at The Doubletree by Hilton, 870 Williston Road, South Burlington.

  1. Unfortunately, RFK, Jr. is a climate fanatic. His record on this is easily found; for example, here: https://www.amazon.com/Climate-Crisis-Causing-Fighting-Reverse/dp/1510760563/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3J8CAK1NNLB1R&keywords=rfk+Jr+climate&qid=1686007224&sprefix=rfk+jr+climate%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-3

It’s a bit disturbing that so many are backing RFK, Jr, without realizing the elephant in the room, which is the false theory of CO2 catastrophe that Kennedy supports. So the question is: if he becomes president, what would he do to save the very world? Wouldn’t he feel justified in enacting drastic measures to flatten the curve for, say, three years? To save the very planet? Wouldn’t he feel that all those naysayers are harming the cause and ought to be censored? He has in fact expressed such sentiments.

No, we don’t need any more grand leaders. We need authentic science on climate, for one, something Kennedy has shown no signs of supporting.

    I will not be there.

    • His climate idealism’s do negate all his profound speech against big government which is too bad as he does seem to have the people’s plight in his mind. However you can’t be anti government and pro climate hoax as the hoax needs a powerful all controlling gov to make it happen. Anyone with a D/P at the end of their name is a science denier from the get go. Their agenda’s can’t survive by using scientific data.

  2. I can’t wait for his debate with Biden, Oh that’s right Joe’s back in the basement…………
