At 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Orleans Municipal Building a panel will discuss concerns about race-based school curricula that are rapidly being implemented in Vermont’s schools in the name of “equity.”
Vermonters for Vermont Initiative has announced three public townhall Informational forums on the highly concerning teaching of critical race theory/equity” (CRT) policy. Speakers will address the public on this topic followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

The theme is “COVID v. the Constitution,” highlighting the numerous ways in which basic constitutional protections have been discarded in the world of COVID-19.
The plaintiffs allege that the defendants are guilty of constitutional overreach and of misrepresenting the medical facts about the coronavirus. The purpose of the hearing is to provide testimony as to whether or not the case against the defendants shall go forward or be dismissed.
The next Vermont Liberty Network event will be held at noon on May 1 at Main Street Park in Rutland, with similar events in other locations to follow on May 2, May 15 and May 16.
