Media outlets project Biden victory as Trump says election ‘far from over’

By Fred Lucas | The Daily Signal

Several major news outlets on Saturday projected former Vice President Joe Biden to have won a prolonged presidential election, even as ballot counting and litigation continue.

President Donald Trump has not conceded the contest, and his campaign team note pending legal challenges across several closely contested states.

“The simple fact is this election is far from over,” Trump said in a statement. “Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor.”

The Associated Press put Pennsylvania in Biden’s column shortly before noon Saturday, an unofficial call that boosted the former vice president past the 270 electoral votes necessary to wrest the White House from Trump.

Other outlets, including Fox News, CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC, The New York Times and The Washington Post followed suit, projecting Biden would become the nation’s 46th president.

“America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country,” Biden tweeted shortly afterward. “The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a president for all Americans—whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”

Biden, who was to address the nation for the second night in a row Saturday night, also held a lead of more than 4 million in the country’s popular vote in unofficial results.

As Biden, who turns 78 on Nov. 20, is poised to become the oldest president in American history, his win caps a five-decade political career that escalated in 1973 when he became one of the youngest members of the U.S. Senate.

However, four days after Election Day, the process and results are being litigated in at least four states and recounted in at least one more, as Trump has not conceded, alleging fraud.

Trump’s legal team will be in court “prosecuting” his case in civil suits, the president said in a statement after the major media outlets projected Biden as the winner.

“Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated,” Trump said, adding:

The American people are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election. It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room–and then fight in court to block their access.

Biden had more than 74 million votes to Trump’s more than 70 million votes, the Associated Press reported, in historic turnout including an unprecedented number of mailed ballots allowed by states because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to unofficial results after most of the mail-in vote was counted, the Biden-Harris ticket flipped states that at first appeared to have gone to Trump and Pence.

Biden appeared to pick up the one-time GOP strongholds of Georgia and Arizona while claiming Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin–traditional Democratic states that were key to Trump’s victory four years ago.

Biden also was ahead in Nevada, while Trump continued to lead in Alaska and North Carolina.

However, because of apparent or alleged irregularities, the results in several states are in court. Given the closeness of the election, vote tallies could change.

If he surmounts these challenges, Biden will become the 15th former vice president to become president when he takes office Jan. 20.

Trump will become the first one-term president since George H.W. Bush, a fellow Republican, who lost his re-election bid in 1992.

The elder Bush was the last vice president to ascend to the White House, which, unlike Biden, he won while still holding that office.

Heritage Foundation President Kay C. James counseled patience until appropriate officials address questions about the election returns.

“The American people deserve and demand election results they can trust. When litigation in critical battleground states has been settled and all allegations of fraud and irregularities have been investigated, that’s what they will have,” James said in a tweeted statement, adding:

Unfortunately, we are not there yet. Recounts and pending litigation must be resolved to the satisfaction of the political parties and the Americans who support them and voted for them.

Election integrity is a pillar of our republic, and without it, we won’t last. For the sake of this election and all of the subsequent elections in generations to come, we must come to a legitimate conclusion.

Anyone rushing to the finish—including the media and those with a vested interest in one outcome—are doing a disservice to the country. Like Vice President Biden has said, democracy ‘sometimes requires a little patience.’

Running on a return-to-normal campaign against the sometimes chaotic and blunt-spoken governing style of Trump, Biden led in polls through most of the year, but the surveys tightened significantly closer to the election.

Biden’s victory came a week after revelations that the FBI is investigating his son, Hunter Biden, and unnamed business associates in connection with their joint venture with a Chinese energy conglomerate linked to China’s communist government.

Surveys consistently showed that most voters trusted Biden more than Trump to address the COVID-19 pandemic, which to date has killed about 237,000 Americans this year.

Before the pandemic struck, Trump seemed to be headed to re-election based on a strong economy. Despite his surviving a Democrat-led House impeachment and never getting above 50% in most polling, Trump’s policies generally were popular.

However, a pandemic originating in China became an all-consuming issue for 2020 and the most potent weapon for Biden and Democrats with which to bludgeon the president.

In part because of the pandemic, Biden conducted much of his campaign from the basement of his home in Delaware, speaking about campaign matters in videos, holding virtual town halls and fundraising events, and almost never talking to journalists.

Trump, meanwhile, presided at enormous rallies drawing tens of thousands, held numerous press conferences and gaggles and granted many interviews. In the closing days, Biden held some rallies, but not at the same pace as Trump and with far smaller crowds.

The contrast was somewhat similar to 100 years ago, Democratic presidential nominee James Cox gave 400 campaign speeches at rallies across the country while Republican nominee Warren Harding—campaigning on a “return to normalcy”—conducted a front-porch campaign in 1920 from his home in Marion, Ohio.

Biden’s path to the Democratic nomination was not easy, despite his having served two terms as vice president under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017 and entering the race as a front-runner.

Harris, the California senator who would become Biden’s running mate, was particularly tough on the former vice president in the first primary debate. She left the Democratic primary race Dec. 3, months before the first votes were cast in Iowa.

Biden came in fourth place in the Feb. 3 Iowa caucuses, which were won by Pete Buttigieg, former mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Biden finished in fifth place Feb. 11 in the New Hampshire primary, which was won by Sen. Bernie Sanders, the democratic socialist from neighboring Vermont. Sanders followed with a victory in the Nevada caucuses Feb. 22.

Under do-or-die circumstances, Biden came roaring back in South Carolina’s Democratic primary Feb. 29, beating Sanders by about 30 points.

After that, much of the large Democratic field dropped out and endorsed Biden. The former vice president followed up by winning 10 of 14 states on Super Tuesday, March 13, and cruised to his party’s nomination from there.

Biden entered the national political scene by running at age 29 for one of Delaware’s two seats in the Senate in 1972. His only previous political experience was as a member of the New Castle County Council for two years.

His Senate career was marked by his chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he employed aggressive tactics to defeat President Ronald Reagan’s 1987 nomination of federal Judge Robert Bork to the Supreme Court.

Biden launched his first presidential campaign for the 1988 Democratic nomination. However, he dropped out before the first primary votes amid a plagiarism scandal.

Biden, by then chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, ran again for president 20 years later. He dropped out after a poor showing in the 2008 Iowa caucuses.

Obama, after a drawn-out primary battle with former first lady and then-Sen. Hillary Clinton, won the Democratic presidential nomination and tapped Biden as his running mate. The two won the 2008 election by defeating the Republican ticket of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Obama and Biden were re-elected in 2012, defeating the GOP ticket of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin.

Joe Biden has been, and still is, under a cloud of self-dealing, while VP, and using Air Force Two, on a China trip, with his son Hunter Biden on board, in December 2013.

VP Joe Biden and Son Hunter Biden Lied About Business Deals with China

Here is a 7.5-minute video showing Hunter’s ex-business partner, Toni Bobulinski, saying Joe Biden lied about business deals in China.
A President Joe Biden would be greatly compromised, when dealing with China, because China would threaten to blackmail him.
Bobulinski provided documents and emails on three phones to: 1) the FBI and to 2) the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
Bobulinski will be in the audience during the Trump/Biden debate.

There are “red herring” points of view, and points of view based on data, information, records, videos from the AUTHENTICATED Hunter Biden hard drive.
It has been authenticated by the FBI, and intelligence agencies, and whistleblowers, and forensic cyber-security experts.

It shows organized grifting and grafting and influence peddling, to monetize the BIDEN NAME, with juicy contracts with Chinese companies (likely approved by the Chinese government), using AIR FORCE TWO, December 2013, with then VP Joe Biden and son Hunter Biden aboard.
Joe and Hunter were just talking about the weather during the long flight?
What was Hunter doing on that plane to begin with?

Others may come forward to corroborate/authenticate other emails within the next few days.
It is best not to prejudge the developing news.

Now president-elect Joe Biden sits on top of a mountain of fraudulent elections in mostly swing states, such in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada and Arizona.

The fraud appears to be so extensive, it would take months to get to the bottom of it. Thousands of poll workers, and Democrat party operatives, had to have been involved. It should be very easy to get many people to come forward, and make sworn statements about what they saw, and participated in, for Court cases. Rep. Fred Keller (R-Pa.). “With recounts and legal challenges expected, we must let the process play out. Count every LEGAL vote.”

Democrats, with help of the Media, enthralled by the positive polls, were talking up a “Blue Wave”, but to their surprise, they had to quickly scrape up more-or-less tainted ballots, from all over the place, to overcome the much larger than expected Red Wave.

Early Congratulations to Biden From Republicans, who prefer to ignore widespread election fraud, for the common good.

    Governor Scott of Vermont
    Senator Collins of Maine
    Senator Romney of Utah
Former president Bush and former governor Jeb Bush of Florida

    Senator Murkowski of Alaska
    Senator Sasse of Nebraska

    • Christopher,

The Dem/Progs had no qualms about stopping the counting of ballots on Tuesday evening, Nov 3, and early morning on Wednesday, Nov 4, because the way the count was going Trump would have won a number of swing states.

      Dem/Progs realized they were behind.
      Panic mode. Stop the counting!
Trump had a lead of almost 700,000 votes in Pennsylvania.

Then the fix began by the Democrat-big-machine cities.
It was a chaotic effort lasting several days.

Those cities can’t wait to get hundreds of $BILLIONS in COVID money.
      It was do or die.

Ballots were rounded up from all sorts of sources, even dead people registered and voted, windows were boarded up, poll watchers were not allowed in, or had to watch from a distance.

The manufacturing of ballots was in full swing.

After a few days, Trump’s lead evaporated and the helpful Media, declared their favorite the winner.

      Case closed.

      Let’s start the transition

Trump had over 70 million votes
Biden now has more votes, but at least 2, or may be 3 million of those, had to be fabricated to overcome Trump’s lead.
That is why it took so long.

Among the poll workers there must have been thousands who saw what was happening. They will talk, and submit sworn affidavits.

The elections in these states are so tainted, the SCOTUS will have to declare them null and void.

Experienced politicians knew full well mail-in would lead to chaos, and that under the cover of chaos they could do their tricks.

They likely were surprised it took so much trickery

CONDOS, SCOTT (who congratulated Biden), et al., have been telling Vermonters, mailing-in ballots is safe, reliable, fraud-free, and should be UNIVERSAL.

TRUMP, et al., have been saying for months, mailing-in ballots is a sham.

The below shows Trump, et al., are right.

In Vermont, a blank ballot was mailed to each active registered voter, dead or alive, moved away or not.
    Registered voters 506,312
    Votes cast 372,366,

Those who received a ballot, but lost it, could obtain a new one on Election Day by signing an affidavit at their polling place.
When I arrived, early morning, on Election Day, there already were boxes with signed affidavits.

    Spare Ballots

That means an extra quantity of blank ballots were printed, and available at each polling station.
Some of these ballots could be used by polling station insiders to tip close races one way or another.
It is likely, an extra quantity of blank ballots was kept “in reserve” elsewhere, to be distributed, as needed, to tip close races one way or another.

This would especially be the case in swing states, in, such as in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada and Arizona.
Various irregularities have been reported in five Democrat-Big-Machine cities, such as Detroit, Mich.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Atlanta, Ga.; Milwaukee, Wis.; and Las Vegas, Nev.

    The Coup d’Etat

As if orchestrated, likely facilitated with cell phones, ballot counting was halted or slowed down, at about the same time, in a number of key states, starting late Tuesday, November 3, and early Wednesday, November 4.
Panic! Trump was too far ahead! Have the Media put out the word ballot-counting will be delayed!
More Biden votes were needed to be distributed to polling centers for counting on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

A few hours later, starting about 4 am, there were steady influxes of Biden votes in Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.
Trump saw what was happening, and wanted to stop the counting. All to no avail.
Poll station monitors were not allowed to watch, or were allowed to watch from a distance.
Windows were being boarded up. No peeking while we cook the books

    The allegations are:

    1) Mysterious ballot drops that seem to show tens of thousands of votes for Joe Biden and zero votes for President Trump,
    2) Inexplicable record turnouts in late-counting counties (all Democrat-dominated) that far surpass turnouts in counties in other states where the votes were counted on a timely basis; and
    3) The illegal banning of election observers in those very counties where the most outrageous anomalies were reported.

Just google voting irregularities in Nevada

In an affidavit, obtained by Fox News, poll workers claimed they “personally witnessed two people handing multiple unopened mail-in ballot envelopes to two other people who then opened and filled out the ballots against” the side of a “Biden/Harris van.”.

In another case, a worker claimed a group of people “formed a human wall” to block visibility, as they were “marking ballots and placing those ballots in pink and white return envelopes.” The worker further alleged that they “regularly saw people walking in with multiple ballots.”

The Trump campaign submitted the sworn statement to the Department of Justice for review, Fox News is told.

“A sworn declaration from an eyewitness is the literal definition of evidence,” a Trump campaign attorney said in a statement. “Those on the left, and in other quarters, that have been screaming that there’s no evidence, will need new talkers and most importantly, will have to now focus on the legitimate issues that have been raised.”

In all these states, Trump was ahead, then, while using the mantra “all votes must be counted”, Biden votes were appearing from various places. Ballot changing and counting went on for days after the election, until Trump ended up behind, and was not elected.

    Call the FBI to investigate?
The FBI would be of no help, because it has been actively undermining Trump, with help of the Media, which is 93% anti-Trump.

  3. Majority of Democrats display behavior of pathological liars and routinely appear incapable of telling the truth – just look at you – infamous textbook example 😀

I for one will not be lectured by suspected pathological liars sir…Pants on fire much Frietag lol…wouldn’t recognize the truth if it hit ya between eyes w a baseball bat..

In other news: Just won the four-Pinochio Prize…and are now the TNR all-time champion – congrats Freitag! Pls post a link to Sharpiegate…failure disqualifies comment just as fast as Biden will spectacularly crash-land from grace only to be be cast in dumpster-fire of history as the abject failure he is and always has been. Nice try Hussein!

This Election Is Not Over… And The Media Knows It
      by Tyler Durden Sun, 11/08/2020 – 22:50
      Authored by Jay Valentine via

Like many, I spent the last few nights waking up at 2:03 A.M., no reason, then looking at my phone for news, any news, that might be positive for President Trump. I survived on Rush, Bongino, Mark Levin. When the news continued to be ugly, I even checked in on ridiculous bloggers promising that ballots were watermarked and D.J. (our household name for a president we love) was actually launching a sting on the Deep State.
      Enough already. Stop the madness.
Hey, I have a degree in statistics, and I have some level of critical thought. If there is such pessimism in my tribe, I am not going along.
So today, I started to dig into the numbers, and as I did, I fought my confirmation bias at every step.
I realized that I, like millions of others, had been numbed into despondency by the overwhelming press, media, social media push to certify President-Elect Biden. (I put that in there so you can see how repellent it is.)

  4. Every legal ballot should count and there is the right to make every legal challenge to process and vote totals. This will be based on facts and evidence provided to the courts. Why it is fine to speculate on possible problems, it would be wise to remember that all that glitters is not gold and some things like sharpiegate do not stand close scrutiny and turn out to be false.
It is important to note as well that this was, down ticket, a fairly successful election for the GOP.

  5. Here are some remedies CONDOS should consider to avoid future election shenanigans in Vermont.

Ballots should be numbered, similar to lottery tickets.
All ballots must be run through a machine on or before Election Day.
    No universal mail-in of ballots.
All absentee voters must request ballots.
No harvesting of ballots from anywhere, including nursing homes.
If absentee, all nursing home ballots must be properly notarized.
If absentee, no ballots are valid, unless properly notarized and post-marked on or before Election Day.

With a proper computer system, immediately after the polls close, it will be known which ballot numbers are missing, such as someone died, moved away, or did not bother to vote.
Those numbers would immediately be declared void, to avoid them being used for nefarious purposes, as happened in Michigan, Wisconsin, Philadelphia, etc.

There would still be many smaller ways to game the system, but at least the barn door would be closed before the horse got out.

Before the present election, truckloads of ballots were printed, and filled out, for Biden, and distributed, as needed, to tip the various races in favor of Biden; a pre-meditated plan, hatched in Democrat-Big-Machine cities, such as Detroit, Mich.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Atlanta, Ga.; Milwaukee, Wis.; and Las Vegas, Nev.

Trump litigating likely would not catch enough fraud to make a difference.
    Changing the rules?

Will never happen, because power and control folks like losey, goosy rules.

NOTE: The Trump poll-monitoring team canvassed all early voters and absentee mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania.
They found over 100 people who likely were dead; 15 of them voted, even though verified as dead!
Senator Graham stated: “Here is the one that really gets me: Six people REGISTERED after they died, and then voted. In Pennsylvania, I guess you’re never out of it.”

That means, voter lists were checked by Democrat voting operatives, to determine who likely had not voted.
Ballots were prepared, and sent in under their name, to polling stations, for counting, until Biden was safely ahead.

Eager operatives, in a hurry, even registered dead people, even after they had died.
That was just an honest mistake? Horse manure!

  6. Biden’s being accused, proven, of having grifted $$Millions grifted with his Son Hunter from countries –
enemies of America – has been completely burried.

We may never see Bobulinski? who has full evidence of these crimes,
Never hear from him again! Burried!

  7. Vermont has fraud too.
    343,000 registered voters
    355,000 votes counted
    88% reporting 12,313 extra votes.
Mmmm now where did these votes come from ???
That’s why voting should be in person with a valid ID
Absentee Ballots only by request from legal Vt resident…

    • And what happened with the Sharpie pens in Vermont?
There was an article right here that said “Don’t use the Sharpie pens..”
So apparently, there were plenty of them around.

We’ve learned that the Sharpie pens bled through the paper and could not be read, so that ballot was no good and not counted, so all these people were denied their vote.

It’s quite interesting where these Sharpie pens have shown up.. and those are expensive pens.
I just paid 4 bucks for 2 of them. So are you gonna tell me that a town spent all that money on bulk Sharpie pens by accident? I really doubt it.
This was not a mistake at all.. and I bet that upon further examination, you’d see that those pens showed up in areas where they’d likely be a lot of Trump voters.

So who is investigating this whole situation in Vermont?
How many ballots were thrown out over these pens- that apparently there were so many that an article was written to inform people of the situation..

  8. This election is far from over and until everything is figured out ” Voter Shenanigans”,
you know fraud from the DNC !!

So are to actually believe that more people voted for Biden than for Barrack Obama,
as Joe would say “come-in man”……..pure BS.

The President, yes president Trump will not concede as he won the election Tuesday
Night November 3rd and all the fraud will be brought forth and verified by whistleblowers
from both parties ” patriots ” to the constitution ……………….

    • Some of these whistleblowers who have come forward are democrats, honest democrats.
The media doesn’t declare the winner of an election. Just like Vt media declared Biden the winner before the polls were even closed. !!! Can you say Trump-hating WCAX.

      • For decades I enjoyed coming back to VT, and knew I was home when Tony Adams and Stuart Hall were on channel 3.

Now we have a bunch of twits, led by Darren Perron.
