This event posting is by Deb Billado, chairwoman of the Vermont GOP.
On Tuesday, October 19th, former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer will join the Vermont Republican Party at our annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner.
Ari has been a prominent leader and crucial voice for several Republican organizations, media entities, and political groups. He served as Press Secretary to President George W. Bush from 2001 through 2003, handling critical events such as the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the anthrax attacks, and the beginning of the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. His best-selling book, Taking Heat, details his years in the White House and reached #7 on The New York Times best-seller list.
Prior to his time at the White House, Fleischer served as a Congressional Republican communications staffer, field director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, and Deputy Press Secretary for President George H.W. Bush’s 1992 re-election campaign. Since leaving the White House, Ari has worked as a consultant for several corporate and sports clients, and currently serves as a Fox News contributor. He is also a Board Member for the Republican Jewish Coalition.
Ari also has Vermont connections, having graduated from Middlebury College in 1982. He returned to Middlebury to speak before the Vermont Federation of College Republicans in 2016 at one of the college republicans’ best-attended events to-date.
Ari has been an instrumental figure in Republican politics and American government over the last several decades. We are fortunate that he is coming here to Vermont in order to speak with us and celebrate the Republican cause.
If you haven’t already, you can purchase tickets for the Lincoln Reagan dinner by clicking here. This includes the opportunity to receive access to a pre-cocktail reception with Ari or sit at his table!
I am looking forward to seeing many of you in less than one month!
Officially proclaiming allience to an administration as corrupt and responsible for mass murder and financial corruption than any other – appears the Vermont Republican Party is pure RINO through and through. This is as telling and bad optics as the Vermont Democrats inviting creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenati to speak at their fund raiser.
