In a U.S. Senate hearing Thursday, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, debated if Americans need to wear masks after they have either been vaccinated or have natural immunity following a COVID infection.
“You’re telling everybody to wear a mask whether they have had an infection or a vaccine. What I’m saying is they have immunity, and everybody agrees they have immunity,” Paul said. “What studies do you have that people that have had the vaccine or have had the infection are spreading the infection? If we’re not spreading the infection, isn’t it just theater? You’ve had the vaccine, and you’re wearing two masks. Isn’t that theater?”

Those who take the time to read the Breggin report might note that the alleged purpose of gain-of-function research, according to NPR, is to prevent pandemics such as Covid-19 (page 22.)
That didn’t work out too well.
A 2013 paper, co-authored by Xing-Yi Ge, virologist at the Wuhan Institute, titled “Isolation and characterization of a bat SARS-like coronavirus that uses the ACE2 receptor.”
This paper “studied the capacity of the coronavirus to be engineered into a pathogen that could be made to connect to the ACE2 human receptor.” Alert readers will remember that Sars-CoV-2 uniquely binds to the ACE2 receptor. Peter Daszak, head of the Ecohealth Alliance which has received several grants from Fauci, is also listed as an author of this paper. (Daszak has also received funding from the CDC and the Gates Foundation.) Isn’t it coincidental that a pandemic emerged from a virus that a unique ability to bind to the ACE2 receptor, and that we know that this connection had been accomplished in a lab, using coronavirus, around 2013?
On April 27, 2020, Newsweek reported that “In 2019, with the backing of NIAID [Fauci’s agency], the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.” Breggin Report, page 27

They all know what happened. They’re all in on it. That’s why there isn’t as much finger pointing as one would expect, as there would be if there was intent by some to harm others. Why else would Fauci insist on mask wearing after vaccination of herd immunity? Listen to his testimony and read the reports on ‘gain of function’ research (I didn’t make this up), it’s the only explanation as to why Fauci is still there, and why the U.S. hasn’t gone after China, that makes any sense.
They screwed up. So, what else is new? The question is, now what do we do?

No I do not think Fauci is the expert he claims to be. He was caught early on claiming the masks were symbolic when faced with evidence that they do not work. Dr. Fauci appears to have found himself in a classic CYA scenario. And it’s all about ‘Gain of Function’ virus research.
What Fauci said in this hearing is that because influenza viruses mutate into so-called ‘variant strains’, masks will add an amount of protection (a level conveniently undefined as yet) for those strains that have mutated, or are soon to mutate.
Now consider that influenza viruses have been mutating for time immemorial. But here’s the deal – the influenza virus research with which Fauci was involved years ago, the so-called ‘Gain of Function’ research that was deemed to be ‘too dangerous to continue’ in the U.S. under the Obama administration, was quietly renewed in 2017 with some projects transferred to, you guessed it, Wuhan, China. Allegedly with funding directed by Fauci. Fact checkers dance around this issue describing these claims as ‘conspiracy theory’, and with sophistry like “Although the NIH did fund a project at the Wuhan lab, there’s no proof that the coronavirus was bioengineered.”
Well, ‘no proof’ isn’t ‘proof’.

OK. Now, I’m speculating.
Under the auspices of trying to learn more about these viruses, like Ebola, for example, ‘Gain of Function’ mutations were intended to create laboratory controlled experiments to better facilitate vaccine production for future outbreaks of various mutating viruses…. or so their logic goes.
But it occurs to me that these Frankenstein wannabes may have been more successful than initially intended – and that one of these engineered ‘function-gaining’ flu strains got loose in the form of Covid-19. And what we’ve been hearing about recently (in this hearing in particular) is that the so-called ‘variants’ that are showing up in the UK, in South Africa, and in Brazil, may be precursors of more to come.
Is it any wonder the so-called ‘Warp Speed’ program was initiated? We have every major pharmaceutical company in the world putting everything they have into these vaccines. We have Dr. (‘it’s alive’) Fauci, pleading with us to wear masks, even after we’ve been vaccinated or have developed immunity to this Covid-19 strain.
Forewarned is forearmed folks. It’s time to stop with the suspicion that Covid-19 was a ‘Great Reset’ ploy to get rid of Donald Trump and put the UN in charge. It’s time to demand that the man behind the curtain, Dr. Fauci, level with us once and for all – even if the truth will hurt – as, it seems to me, it likely will.
Even though we’ve been jetting around the globe for the past 70 years or so and had the potential to spread any number of germs, we’ve essentially only been attacked by flu viruses until this “novel” virus came out, which many scientists argue has the markings of being lab-created. Now we’re being told that this won’t be the last pandemic, that we need to prepare for recurring pandemics. Why? What has changed? What has changed is our ability to manufacture deadly pathogens in the lab.
Yes, Fauci did fund the Wuhan lab. I’ve seen the grant documents. This funding was channeled through the Ecohealth Alliance run by Peter Daszak who, coincidentally, is part of the WHO team to determine if Covid-19 was of lab origin. What happens to Daszak’s research if they find that it was? What happens to GOF research around the world if they find that it was? I predict they won’t.
We should take seriously the idea that Covid-19 may be a lab product, and we should take seriously the possibility that there might be a plan, now or even in the remote future, to use bioweapons against the population in order to control them and herd them through fear, or simply to subjugate them through directed pathogens. This isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. To cut off even the remote possibility of this happening, we need to look seriously at gain-of-function research, ask why we’re doing it and if it’s even necessary if the risks– which are great– exceed the gain, and if these should be shut down. We need to subject these facilities to much greater scrutiny and oversight.
We have a mess and it’ll take years to unravel everything that happened and is happening. Another question we need to ask is: why did the medical community reject common-sense pandemic plans in place prior to Covid-19, and why did they advocate for measures that originated from a totalitarian regime? Why did the medical community rally against safe drugs that were demonstrated to be effective in halting serious Covid-19 when used early? Why did the medical community do highly biased trials using the wrong dose in the wrong patients at the wrong time, and pass these off as “proof” against a safe drug that could have saved thousands of lives?
We had a straightforward, reasonable way to deal with Covid-19 early on, and it didn’t involve locking down the healthy population for the sake of the elderly, who were (or could be) largely home-bound anyhow. Why? In fact, everything was done to halt a common-sense, medically valid approach and push through lockdown measures instead. We knew this very early on in the pandemic, yet there can be no mistake that the powers-that-be worked hard to disregard the path of least harm and most benefit, either through ignorance or through blind allegiance to untested Chinese authoritarian measures that were promoted by the WHO.

As for the masks themselves, Vermont’s test positivity rate is basically the same post-mandate as it was before the mandate–1.5 to 1.6%. They have made no statistical difference, so wearing them is more an act of faith than it is about science.
