U.S. House, and Welch, focused on Trump removal

By Guy Page

All but two votes cast thus far in the 2021-22 session by Rep. Peter Welch, D-Vt., on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives have addressed the removal of office and/or impeachment of President Donald Trump, according to a review of the Vermont congressman’s voting record. In each case he has voted against Trump and with the Democratic majority.

Apart from “housekeeping” votes at the beginning of the 2021-22 session, the two non-Trump-related votes (both yes) were to allow the appointment of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and to require federal government spending to be posted online for transparency purposes.

Welch also has co-sponsored 26 bills, including the censure of two Republican colleagues who defended Trump in the Electoral College vote, reparations for African-Americans, and admitting Washington DC as a state – to be known as Douglass Commonwealth. The information below is presented as published on the House website:

  1. Office of the Former President Donald Trump report Donald is now

a citizen, not a politician and not a hack entrenched in the DC swamp like our 3 stooges …
Congress has no authority to impeach a citizen… so any allowing
this shamwow kangaroo kourt are only wasting taxpayer money on
a hate filled revenge plot to shame his name… Kinda like the last one that lasted 4 years…

    • What a total load of that stuff out in the barn yard:

” Expressing deep gratitude on behalf of the people of the United States to the journalists and news staff who risked threats of injury and death to chronicle the horrendous details of the insurrection on January 6, 2021″

The gratitude is for total leftist propaganda with lies repeated over and over until their dumb down base absorbs it…

  2. Peter Welch doesn’t think for himself; like most on the left in this country, he merely mimics what the leaders on the left say. He must do that to appease the left in Vermont. He enjoys the money and the status, surrounds himself with his chosen group, and does nothing for this state. He’s pathetic.

  3. It shows just how partisan Welch really is, he’s just a follower and can’t make up his
own mind. So Peter where in the constitution does it state you can impeach a ” non-
political ” person, you know a civilian.

Welch went along with the first sham impeachment, and they tried everything but failed
no leadership, no proof, and now Welch supports this second sham impeachment and
this one just shows how bitter DemocRATs really are towards Trump, he has them really
scared he’ll resurface ……………..God willing he will !!

Vermont we deserve better representation, let’s hope 2022 gives us a real choice.

  4. Clearly, this has nothing to do with high crimes and misdemeanors. The rabid impeachment effort belies the inherent apprehension democrats and RINOs have that Trump will run again. Meanwhile, they ought to be equally, if not more, concerned with the 2022 mid-terms. Leahy and Welch both must run again. Sanders not until 2024.

  5. Why is Rep. Pete Bonaparte always talks like he’s two clicks away from being diagnosed a misanthrope?

  6. It is not the House trying this impeachment.

It’s the biased, partisan leftist Democrats trying this a second time with President Trump!

To be clear: the sic, vicious, heatred spreading radical communist Dems now try to empeach POTUS Trump a second time..!
They call this: “unyfying and healing’…
