VT Digger announced “Progressives take control of Burlington City Council”.
Well, duh. If anyone cared to read the list of candidates, the only people on the ballot were Progressives, Democrats and a couple of Independents ‘in name only’. And only one (Kurt Wright, the only Republican – as a write-in candidate) even mentioned ‘fiscal responsibility’ as an issue.
Good luck Burlington.
