Last week’s Climate Strike mercifully stopped short of massive civil disobedience, but it’s worth taking a look at the organization that collaborated with 350.org and VPIRG to train Vermont youths to do that. Ken Braun has done that in a recent report from the Capital Research Center.
Climate Strike: Hundreds of college, middle- and high-school students gathered in Midlebury on Sept. 20 to demand an end to fossil fuels.
“Last April the UK based Extinction Rebellion — known as XR — was already strong enough to deploy thousands of demonstrators onto the streets of London. In the process, they invaded a handful of major traffic thoroughfares, blocked them, and held them for eleven days. The uprising snarled traffic, required the deployment of 10,000 police officers … and led to more than 1,100 arrests.”
“Extinction Rebellion announced its goal to ‘shut down London.’ It turned up the heat and called for reinforcements: ‘This movement is the best chance we have of bringing down capitalism. Get on board…’ That last, perhaps too-revealing tweet was later deleted.”
“Another April entry from the XR Twitter account quotes an opinion piece from the Guardian: ‘Our choice comes down to this. Do we stop life to allow capitalism to continue, or stop capitalism to allow life to continue?’”
“Extinction Rebellion co-founder Roger Hallam declared ‘We are going to force the governments to act. And if they don’t we will bring them down and create a democracy fit for purpose. And yes, some may die in the process.’”
Vermont’s ingenuous climate protesters, and their enablers at 350.org and VPIRG, should rethink their alliance with radical revolutionary groups like XR.

Have been struck by how much Russian pov -even Putin – squares with other national soveriegnty movements in EU and even US.
Quite obviously…on the world stage Russia is our enemy…this will never change.
That said…appears Russia not a fan of globalism – at all – nor its fascistic takeovers of our world economy specifically under the guise of newly minted “green” XR propaganda from EU and our very own apparatchiks…after all if anyone is aware of propagandizing Russians are experts.
Perhaps acutely aware of the horrific consequences and the wastelands they beget as it is unlikely their nation will ever escape its dark and bloody stain.
Looks like the’yre also not fooled by the pimping of Ms Thunberg on the world stage and fully aware of the stringpullers behind theatrical display.

What do these clowns expect to accomplish other than to annoy the silent majority? Are we supposed to shut down all the gas stations, stop heating our homes, stop using any product containing an element made with the use of fossil fuels??? Oh, I forgot to include the elimination of plastic straws, now there’s a real winner. Are we supposed to put a wind turbine on our chimmnies next to our solar panels and wait for the sun to shine and the wind to blow while he’ll freezes over??? Get real you raving maniacs.

This was an ” Outstanding ” display, when you let fools lose on the streets to block traffic
working people trying to get to work, appointments maybe even a medical concern and this
pack of geniuses stalls the traffic ( Idleing Vehicles) and police & elected officials let this
happen, now that’s saving the world !!
