Every Vermont town and city voted for ‘reproductive liberty’ Article 22

The community most heavily in favor of Article 22 was Norwich in Windsor County, a wealthy bedroom town for Dartmouth College staff and professors and medical professionals at the nearby hospital. Voters there went about 12-1 in favor.

Municipal firearms restrictions No. 1 priority for gun control group

“Repealing the preemption law is absolutely on the GunSense legislative agenda,” Conor Casey told VDC. “I anticipate you’ll see other towns passing supportive resolutions in the coming weeks.” Burlington is considered the leading candidate for firearms restrictions.

Traffic stop neck grab gets Springfield cop permanent ban

For the second time in less than two months, the Vermont Criminal Justice Council voted to permanently de-certify a Vermont law enforcement officer’s certification. Both de-certifications occurred as a result of actions during a traffic stop.
