Mississippi first state to ban biological male students from women’s sports

Mississippi Republican Gov. Tate Reeves signed a bill into law Thursday barring transgender athletes in public schools and colleges from competing in women’s sports. South Dakota’s Senate sent a similar bill to the desk of Republican Gov. Kristi Noem on Monday.

Equality Act erodes religious liberty, dangerous to women and children, critics argue

The bill claims to grant national civil protections by amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act. It replaces the word “sex,” with “sex, sexual orientation, gender identity” as a protected class in federal code, and changes many other federal laws.

After inaugural rhetoric on unity, Biden signs divisive transgender executive order

Boys who identify as girls must be allowed to compete in the girls’ athletic competitions, men who identify as women must be allowed in women-only spaces, healthcare plans must pay for gender-transition procedures, and doctors and hospitals must perform them. Sounds unifying, right?

Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced a resolution calling for the elimination of gendered terms for the 117th Congress Friday, but the California Democrat still has the terms “mother” and “grandmother” in her Twitter bio.
