The things I see from Vermont public schools cause me anxiety. I see example after example of racist teaching that has no place in our public schools. Students are singled out for their race and taught that because of the color of their skin they are racist.
Leftist activists want parents classified as domestic terrorists because parents and grandparents do not want their children’s schools to become America-hating camps. Parents have both a right and responsibility to protect their children from bad actors.
My advice for liberty-minded Vermonters is to stop worrying about the governor’s office until you have a majority in the Legislature. You might actually like the Phil Scott that shows up in that scenario.
Rather than the Delta variant, the influenza morbidity and mortality rates offer a stronger basis to mask children for protection. But we have never made that argument and for good reason.
