Letter: We shouldn’t pass legislation that will empower sex traffickers

Some people want us to believe that there is nothing wrong with this idea and that legalizing prostitution will empower women because it is an act of consent. However, the real data says something different.

Letter: Parents have ‘a right and responsibility to protect their children’

Leftist activists want parents classified as domestic terrorists because parents and grandparents do not want their children’s schools to become America-hating camps. Parents have both a right and responsibility to protect their children from bad actors.

Letter: Overthinking Gov. Phil Scott

My advice for liberty-minded Vermonters is to stop worrying about the governor’s office until you have a majority in the Legislature. You might actually like the Phil Scott that shows up in that scenario.

Letter: Prudent policymaking considers multiple factors

Rather than the Delta variant, the influenza morbidity and mortality rates offer a stronger basis to mask children for protection. But we have never made that argument and for good reason.

Letter: Burlington residents should condemn the banning of Christopher-Aaron Felker from Facebook group

Persecutive and disturbing are two adjectives to describe the banning of the Burlington Ward 3 City Council Republican candidate from the old North End’s Facebook group.
