John Klar: Hunting rights on the block in devious constitutional railroading

The logic being used to ram several anti-hunting bills through the Senate Natural Resources and Energy Committee would suffice to ban all hunting rights of all kinds, and allow a small minority of partisan influencers to essentially erase state and federal constitutional guarantees.

Vermont Traditions Coalition: Veto of S.30 welcomed, but more work to be done

We continue to oppose any state level expansion of the NICS delay period, and we continue to request the repeal of the large capacity magazine ban as ineffective “feel good” legislation passed by the legislative supermajority to appease demands to “just do something” without facing the roots of crime like addiction and drug trafficking in the state.

U.S. House candidate Ericka Redic: ‘Balint unconcerned about victim safety’

Redic says “Balint seems to think the only people who purchase guns are criminals or domestic abusers. She wants to take away a woman’s ability to protect herself and her family from domestic violence.”

Gov. Scott vetoes S.30 gun bill, offers ‘path forward’

I believe going from three to effectively 30 days is excessive and unreasonable for law-abiding citizens who wish to purchase a firearm for their own personal safety or for other lawful and constitutionally protected purposes.

GoVT: Urgent action needed on S.30

We need everyone to contact the governor and ask him to please veto S.30, an unnecessary and dangerous bill, crafted by anti-gun lobbying groups to further erode Vermont’s 200-year traditions of freedom and safety.

VTGOP: Tell Gov. Scott to veto new gun control bill S.30

The Vermont Republican Party stands firmly against further infringement on the rights of innocent gun owners.  But we need your help to get the governor to veto this bill.

Letter: Gun bill S.30 with new sections rushed through committee, democratic process be damned

What I am about to relate is one of the most disheartening, if not one of the most outright disgusting things I have ever seen in my eight-year tenure as a lobbyist. Let me explain.

House passes gun ban in hospitals, lawmaker confirms staff currently unprotected
