Vermont cows must fart 50% less by 2030, climate council learns

Hill informed the council that 70% of agriculture GHG emissions comes form “enteric fermentation,” which is the politely scientific term for cow burps and gas releases. This, Hill proclaimed, must be reduced by just under 50% by the year 2030.
