The good news is that the administration seems to be laying the groundwork for a potential veto of the clean heat standard if it doesn’t contain a second vote threshold. The bad news is, many members of the Scott administration have been advocates for the CHS.

The White House budget will remove more than a dozen fossil fuel industry tax credits, increasing the federal government’s revenue by an estimated $45.2 billion between 2023-2032, according to the proposal published Monday.

As part of the pilot program, customers lease or purchase two Enphase IQ Batteries for their home. Customers agree to share access to the batteries to cut power demand during expensive energy peaks when people are using a lot of energy, which helps lower costs for all.

Biden noted at a press conference that the deal called for “reducing Europe’s demand for gas overall.” In addition, the president said the Ukraine crisis proved the need for the world to “double-down on our clean energy goals.”

‘Slap in the face’: Dems’ solution to high gas prices is more stimulus checks

Under the so-called Gas Rebate Act, consumers would receive $100 per month, and another $100 for each dependent, throughout the remainder of 2022 for any month where the national price of gasoline is above $4 a gallon.

New Hampshire lawmakers eye registration rebates to offset gas prices

New Hampshire lawmakers want to give the state’s motorists a little relief from skyrocketing gas prices by providing them with rebates on vehicle registrations. A proposal would send the owners of vehicles registered between July 2021 and June 2022 a one-time $25 rebate.

10,000 Vermont households to get an additional one-time fuel benefit

Given high oil and kerosene prices, a one-time $350 benefit will be paid to providers to help offset additional costs for program participants.
