So much for the falsely-named Democrat “Inflation Reduction Act.” September’s inflation figures came out worse than expected this week, but Americans didn’t need Washington bureaucrats to tell them they’re suffering record high price spikes.
The Vermont GOP announced this week that Republicans would be taking initial steps to expose mistakes or abuse of mail-in ballots in the Green Mountain State.
Six candidates are competing for the three seats that will represent Braintree as a part of the Washington Senatorial district. Two incumbents are running for re-election, leaving one seat to be hotly contested following the retirement of incumbent Sen. Anthony Pollina, P/D-Washington.
“When you look at this party, today’s Democratic Party, it’s controlled by fanatical ideologues who hate freedom. They despise the Constitution. They actively find ways to undermine our God-given rights enshrined in the Constitution like freedom of speech.”
“I’ve been horribly attacked, my signs are being stolen, and to me that’s just a reflection on the other side. Let’s keep having the conversation and having our free speech rights here in Vermont.”
“Whether you plan to vote early by mail, in-person at your Town Clerk’s office, by dropping your ballot at a secure ballot drop box, or in-person at the polls on Election Day, having a voting plan helps ensure that you don’t experience any issues when casting your ballot,” said Secretary of State Jim Condos.
“John Klar provided video evidence that Mark MacDonald was in possession of Klar’s yard signs. Since Klar did not give a yard sign to MacDonald, the sign in MacDonald’s yard must have been stolen either by MacDonald himself, or by someone else and then given to MacDonald.”
New Hampshire receives national attention for its “first in the nation” presidential primary, but this year, it could decide control of the U.S. Senate, and the race is extremely close.
A lawsuit filed in May on behalf of several Democratic voters asked the court to reject maps for the 24 Senate districts and five Executive Council districts that were approved by the House and Senate and Republican Gov. Chris Sununu, who signed legislation authorizing the changes.
Vermont voters who have moved out of state are receiving mailed ballots for the November 8, 2022 general election.
Victory in November could give the GOP the 51 votes needed to uphold Gov. Phil Scott’s vetos on carbon taxation and other bills.
