Vermont announces school vaccine incentive program

Governor Phil Scott and the Agency of Education announced the School Vaccine Incentive Program, committing $2 million in federal emergency funds to schools that achieve a student vaccination rate of 85% or higher.

The Brattleboro Reformer is reporting a story of potential voter fraud in regard to a vote on the closing of Windham Elementary School. This case has echoes of one from Victory, Vermont, back in 2017, wherein a number of non-residents participated by absentee ballot in an election for town clerk.

Letter: Vermont schools guilty of ‘divisive racial indoctrination, negating parental rights’

The things I see from Vermont public schools cause me anxiety. I see example after example of racist teaching that has no place in our public schools. Students are singled out for their race and taught that because of the color of their skin they are racist.

National School Boards Association removes letter comparing parents to domestic terrorists from website

The letter suggested the use of statutes, such as the USA PATRIOT Act, to stop threats or violence directed toward school board members over actions that it said could be “the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

School administrator torches claim that ‘CRT is not taught in schools’

“When we tell you that schools aren’t teaching Critical Race Theory (CRT), that it is nowhere in our standards, that’s misdirection,” he said in the video. “We don’t have the quotes and theories as state standards, per se. We do have Critical Race Theory in how we teach.”
