An at-home, over-the-counter COVID-19 test was given Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the Federal Drug Administration Monday — along with an FDA doctor’s warning that “all tests can experience false negative and false positive results.”

A Vermont single mother of two was forced to lose her job and then was denied unemployment benefits from the state, causing her to become homeless and flee to Florida — all because she chose not to take a COVID-19 vaccine.

For month of September, 76% of Covid-19 deaths were among the vaccinated in Vermont

Health Department spokesperson Ben Truman said most of the vaccine ‘breakthrough’ Covid-19 fatalities were elderly. Because they were among the first vaccinated, Vermont’s elderly “have had more time to potentially become a vaccine breakthrough case,” he said.

No Vermont state employees on unpaid leave for Covid non-compliance, Scott admin says

Of the 1,100 state employees who have not attested Covid-19 vaccination, none are currently on unpaid leave for failing to comply with masking and testing requirements, a spokesman for Gov. Phil Scott said.

New Hampshire wrestling with COVID-19 vaccine funding amid protests

The council was expected to reconsider the contracts on Wednesday but the meeting was shut down after anti-vaccine protesters packed into the hall at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, disrupting the proceedings. State police were called to the event.

Governor recommends booster shots and shots for young children

At his weekly press conference Tuesday, Republican Gov. Phil Scott doubled down on his commitment to push booster shots on already vaccinated Vermonters and he expects schools to promote vaccinations for students ages 5-to-12 years old.

Poll: Majority of Americans think those refusing vaccine should not lose job

Convention of States Action released the poll Wednesday, which reports that 65% of surveyed voters “do not believe Americans should lose their jobs if they object to taking the COVID-19 vaccine.”
