A bill to establish the legal personhood of a human fetus at 24 weeks was introduced into the Vermont House Jan. 15 and referred to the House Human Services Committee.

Here’s a breakdown of Planned Parenthood’s services over the past year

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America performed 345,672 abortions during the 2018 fiscal year. The organization provided 9,821,548 services to 2.4 million patients during the 2018 fiscal year. The largest amount of services were 4,960,598 STI testing and treatment services.

Letter: We must bring Vermont back to life

Since 1973, close to 100,000 babies were killed by abortion in Vermont. The babies aborted in the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s never grew up to have children or grandchildren. We are seeing the results in our schools with rapidly declining enrollments.

More than two-thirds of Americans support state safeguards on abortions, poll shows

Seventy percent of respondents said abortion clinics should be held to the same standards that general hospitals are held to. Seventy-four percent of respondents believe states should have the ability to pass laws ensuring abortion facilities comply with “basic medical practices and sanitation.”
