H.227, an act relating to approval of amendments to the charter of the city of Winooski, passed in the state Senate on June 24, 2021, by a vote of 20-10.
The purpose of the vote was to override Governor Scott’s veto of H.227, which amended the charter of the City of Winooski to allow non-citizens who are legally in the United States and full-time residents of the city to vote in city elections.
Analysis: Those voting YES assert that non-citizens pay taxes, have children in the schools, and are active participants in the community, therefore they deserve the right to vote on issues that affect them.
Those voting NO assert that voting is a right and responsibility tied to citizenship, and that giving this privilege to non-citizens unfairly undermines the votes of actual citizens. They raise concerns that this will set a precedent for other towns to follow, and note that this is unconstitutional.
The Vermont Constitution states (emphasis added): “QUALIFICATIONS OF FREEMEN AND FREEWOMEN, § 42. [VOTER’S QUALIFICATIONS AND OATH] Every person of the full age of eighteen years who is a citizen of the United States, having resided in this State for the period established by the General Assembly and who is of a quiet and peaceable behavior, and will take the following oath or affirmation, shall be entitled to all the privileges of a voter of this state:…”
As recorded in the Senate Journal, Wednesday, May 7, 2021: “Shall the bill pass, notwithstanding the refusal of the Governor to approve it?, was decided in the affirmative on a roll call required by the Vermont Constitution, Yeas 20, Nays 10. (the necessary override two-thirds vote having been attained).” (Read the Journal, p. 1452).

It includes everything Dem/Progs always wanted, including no photo ID.
Dem/Progs argue photo ID discriminates against blacks, despite the fact about 125 countries require photo IDs to register to vote.

NOTE: Attorney General Merrick Garland said at a press conference, “Our complaint alleges that recent changes to Georgia’s election laws were enacted with the purpose of denying or abridging the right of Black Georgians to vote on account of their race or color, in violation of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.” Such a statement demeans Blacks, because it implies Blacks, of all minorities, do not know how to get a photo ID.

Consequences of Pelosi’s “For the People’s Act”
The bill would lead to Dem/Progs implementing a COMMAND/CONTROL “NEW SOCIALIST ORDER”, under the guise of fighting climate change, a la Bernie Sanders, who celebrated his honeymoon in the USSR!

Republican Legislatures finally woke up after the 2020 elections.

This premeditated, 288,000-mail-in-ballot fraud took place in New York and Pennsylvania (20 Electoral votes) several months BEFORE the election.
It likely was not the only pre-meditated fraud in the swing states, that simultaneously stopped counting ballots on Election Night, to “assess” the situation, because Trump was too far ahead.

US Media Allied with Dem/Progs
The US media, in cahoots with the Dem/Progs, kept on writing, “There was no large-scale voter fraud that could alter the outcome of the election”, and “these are unfounded, unproven allegations”, and “unhinged conspiracy theories”.
The US Media blatantly continued their writings, even AFTER all of the NY/PA episode became public knowledge before Thanksgiving.
The US Media purposely calls it “VOTER FRAUD” to manipulate people off the real issue, which is pre-meditated, election-outcome manipulation.
The US Media knows well, the 288,000-mail-in-ballot fraud had next to nothing to do with “VOTERS”, because the ballot “processing” was performed:
1) By pre-selected Dem/Prog personnel

3) Without, or minimal, proper supervision/observation
