New Hampshire is fighting back to defend the Electoral College

Some New Hampshire legislators have proposed to withhold popular vote totals at the conclusion of a presidential election. The numbers would eventually be released after the meetings of the Electoral College. The idea sounds anti-democratic. In reality, however, such proposals could save our republic.

Vermont representative says $15 minimum wage helps women — but would it?

So there you have it. Vermont women earn 100 cents on the dollar if you take into consideration their work preferences, better than the 98 cents on the dollar that American women do. Without understanding this fact, a $15 minimum wage will do more harm than good.
