Board of Civil Authority chair says vote by mail expansion has problems

Secretary of State Jim Condos on Monday issued a directive to mail ballots to every active registered voter for the general election, but some critics say the move will let ballots end up in the wrong hands, and make it nearly impossible to verify who’s voting.

Poll: Skepticism amongst Americans growing over coronavirus death count

The Axios-Ipsos poll released Tuesday shows 31% of Americans believe that the number of deaths is lower than what is being reported. 58% of Republicans and 9% of Democrats believed that “the real number of deaths is less than the official count.”

LA teachers union says public schools should not reopen unless demands are met

One of the largest teachers unions in the state of California, the United Teachers Los Angeles with 35,000 members, says public schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District should not reopen if certain policies are not implemented on the state and national level, including defunding the police.
