Winooski City Council votes to rescind mask mandate

Winooski City Council voted Monday to rescind the city’s mask mandate. Councilors Bryn Oakleaf, Jim Duncan, and Thomas Renner all voted to rescind the mandate, with Councilor Aurora Hurd abstaining from the vote.

New Hampshire lawmakers want to give the state’s motorists a little relief from skyrocketing gas prices by providing them with rebates on vehicle registrations. A proposal would send the owners of vehicles registered between July 2021 and June 2022 a one-time $25 rebate.
