One of the largest labor unions representing federal workers, strongly criticized President Joe Biden’s reported plans to soon issue a vaccine mandate.
The American Postal Workers Union (APWU), which represents 216,797 federal workers, announced its opposition to a mandate forcing its members to get the coronavirus vaccine. The APWU also demanded that Biden’s administration negotiates with union leadership before issuing any mandate.
“While the APWU leadership continues to encourage postal workers to voluntarily get vaccinated, it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent,” the union said in a statement.
“At this time the APWU opposes the mandating of COVID-19 vaccinations in relation to U.S. postal workers,” the statement continued.
On Thursday, Biden is slated to unveil an updated White House plan to get more Americans vaccinated and slow the spread of the delta variant of coronavirus, according to his daily schedule. The president is expected to announce a mandate requiring all federal employees to get vaccinated during his remarks, CNN reported.
In addition to the APWU, several government worker’s unions have privately resisted Biden’s plans to mandate vaccinations, Politico reported. Labor leaders who were key to getting the president elected reportedly clashed with White House officials during behind-closed-doors discussions.
“We’re not doing any mandates,” International Association of Fire Fighters spokesperson Tim Burn told Politico. “We’re not advocating any mandates for vaccination.”
Biden hinted Tuesday that his administration was preparing to force workers employed by the federal government to get vaccinated as a result of increasing case numbers driven by the delta variant. He recently suggested there was only a pandemic “among the unvaccinated.”
But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) changed its mask mandate again Tuesday, recommending both unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals wear masks in regions with high spread.
“If you are not vaccinated, please take the Delta variant seriously,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said during a press briefing last week. “This virus has no incentive to let up, and it remains in search of the next vulnerable person to infect.”
On Tuesday, the CDC reported more than 80,000 new coronavirus cases for the first since February. The U.S. has averaged just 608,380 vaccinations per day over the last several days compared to the average of 3.4 million it hit in April, according to a New York Times database.

The extremist factions are using the federal government to make major changes to US culture.
They know they have about 2 years to wreak their havoc.
The extremist factions propose TRILLION-DOLLAR federal programs that would make the power of the federal government, IN THEIR HANDS, unassailable, and would make the US akin to a Socialist, Third World basket case.
Our enemies, such as China, Russia, etc., love it.
The EU is worriedly shaking its head.
The EU, very dependent on fleecing the US, using “rules-based” trade, needs a stable, reliable US for its purposes.
Dem/Prog extremist mandates include:
– The US people marching in step, such as wear masks, get shots, fight climate change, etc. See Note
– Encouraging younger people to engage in demonstrations, violence, looting, burning, killing cops and others, as part of compensating the aggrieved/short-changed groups.
– Indoctrinating younger people with BLM, CRT, the 1619 Project, and other psycho-babble, to achieve increased command/control
People who resists are called vile, enemies of the state, resisters, and deniers.
The extremist factions are using scorched-earth MASS IMMIGRATION, from at least 160 Third-World countries, as one tactic to implement their command/control, and their “browning” of America.

The post office is the only one with a policy not to force customers to wear masks to use their services at a P.O. They may dress it up to look like they will enforce it but its all show: the policy tells them not to, and serve with a smile.
The USPO is the enemy of the communist state because it actually is a money maker hamstrung by its competitors who bought congress back in 1980 or so, by mandating a LAW – the only instance of this ever being done – that the USPO had to pre-pay in advance ALL its employees pensions AND their health insurance. This amounts to billions a year for them and this is why it always looks like they are losing money. They are taking care of their employees, while hamstrung by bought politicians who are in the pay of Amazon and Google, and need that 2nd yacht.
The union is the only reason they are still standing.
Coups have been attempted again and again to take down this longest functioning bastion of American towns and villages, centers and com-trees of communications between friends, relatives and businesses. And lovers and artists. Mail art.
They are under fire from the fascists because people still use them.
And, post offices function as a gathering place of information for locals.
Can’t have that.
I was never asked to wear a mask in a post office.
