New VTGOP chair announces ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ rally in Brandon, VT

For Immediate Release
November 6, 2021

Brandon, Vt. — This morning the newly elected Chair of the VT Republican Party [Paul Dame] issued the following statement:

“Thank you to all of my fellow Republicans who supported me before Saturday’s election, and those who showed their support after. The delegates truly demonstrated through my election, and the election of our Vice Chair, Rep. Smanatha Lefebvre that the Republicans Party truly is the place of opportunity for young people.

We also added a third Young Republican to our executive committee with the election of Michael Valdez of Stowe as an At-Large Member. Along with the House Republican Caucus appointee of Rep. Casey Toof, and the Youth Chair who will be elected at the next Youth Committee Meeting, nearly half of our Executive Committee will be under 40.

We have a lot of work to do over before the session starts in VT, but as I announced at Saturday’s meeting we are going to start with a little fun.

Joe Biden’s first year in office has proved to be the worst of any president in my lifetime. Gas prices are nearly double what they were a year ago. The reports on the costs of an average Thanksgiving meal is nearly double what it was a year ago. And in many cases people are waiting weeks or even months to get certain supplies due to a terrible sipping container crisis. Most presidents try to act swiftly in the first 100 days, and President Biden has next to zero accomplishments as we approach the last 60 days of his first year.

President Biden has done nothing to help the people of Vermont, so VT Republicans are going to do something to support the people of Vermont. And we’re going to start in my own home town — Brandon, VT!

This Saturday we are hosting a “Let’s Go Brandon” Rally in Central Park in Brandon. We are having hats, T-shirts and bumper stickers designed and printed as locally as possible as our first step to make a small contribution to the local economy. Due to supply chain issues, there are limited quantities and sizes available, but you can go online starting today to purchase your merchandise and support Brandon, VT. A portion of all the proceeds of sales made for this rally will be going to a designated charity in Brandon, and we have chosen the Brandon Area Emergency Food Shelf.

The rally will be from 3:30-5pm, and after the rally we are encouraging people folks to stick around and choose one of the great dining options in Brandon. They’ve got everything from award-winning fine dining at Cafe Provence to simple and reliable Brandon House of Pizza. All within walking distance of the green.

We are encouraging anyone interested in attending to go to www.vtgop.org to register, and while supplies last they can order merchandise for pick up on Saturday at the Rally, or there will also be other options to order merchandise for delivery at a later date.

  3. Let’s see if the antifa a*s h*les show up. I hope Conservative Vermonters are not afraid to gather and exercise their Constitutional freedom of speech. My guess is that it will be shut down before it even begins with some sorry excuse about white supremacists.

  4. I made a LET’S GO BRANDON sign from a used political lawn sign–spray-painted it white, made a hand-cut stencil, red letters.
I put it in the triangle where route 12A meets route 12 in Randolph.
It remained there unmolested for 3 weeks or so; only recently disappeared. I had figured it would get taken out right away.
That’s a good use for those old lawn signs. I’m keeping my John Klar sign as it is though, hope to use it again soon!

  5. “Let’s go Brookfield!”
    “Let’s go Barton!”
    “Let’s go Bolton!”
    “Let’s go Burlington!”
Biden’s harms are widespread — so should be our voices of discontent. Let us not go quietly into this dark night.

Brandon is a good place to start…. 🙂

    What’s it spell ?

    OFFENCE !
    OFFENCE !
    OFFENCE !

It’s time the GOP goes on offence. You can start by getting conservatives on the school boards and start questioning the curriculum. Then watch the Commiecrat heads explode.

    Let’s Go Brandon !

    • Offence or Offensive?
While this may feel good to some, starting off by showing extreme disrespect to whoever is President ( even if it is tongue in cheek) is likely to turn off some voters upon who we will depend to swing seats in the 2022 election.
