Democrats losing support among minority voters

By Harold Hutchison

A spokesman for the Republican National Committee (RNC) said the party could cut into one of the most reliable Democratic voting blocs during a Wednesday Fox News appearance.

“[Black voters] see this is a difference in leadership, especially coming from Republican governors,” Paris Dennard told “Fox and Friends First” co-host Todd Piro, citing liberal efforts to defund police, opposition to school choice, inflation and high gas prices that lead black voters to consider voting for Republicans.

“The Biden economic agenda being pushed by Democrats is not helping the Black community,” Dennard told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Black unemployment went up in the last jobs report, inflation and high gas prices and an increase in crime, have a disproportionately negative impact on Black voters and there are no solutions coming from the Biden White House and the Democrats in charge, which is leading to their plummeting poll numbers.”

Piro displayed graphics that showed President Joe Biden’s approval among black voters dropped 20 points, according to a Gallup poll released in April, and noted that black voters propelled Biden to victory in South Carolina’s 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

WATCH:

The RNC tracked 81 black candidates for the House of Representatives running in 72 congressional districts, according to The Washington Times.

“The RNC is proud to see the diversity and inclusivity of our Party found in the record number of Black Republicans running for office this cycle at all levels,” Dennard said.

Biden’s approval rating also plummeted among Hispanic voters, with 60% of Hispanics disapproving of his job performance in a May Quinnipiac poll. Republican Rep. Mayra Flores of Texas won a special election in June in a district that was 85% Hispanic.

Asian-American voters are also shifting to the Republican Party, according to various Pew Research polls. Some Republicans believe that reported discrimination against Asian Americans in academic admissions is one factor.

  1. Ha Ha…Rich…you forgot to mention that Al Gore’s father…..Senator Gore….Southern DEMOCRAT…quote and FACT:

“It is easy to control the minds of a people. All one has to do is change history by lying about the past. This is exactly what has happened with the legacy of former Democratic U.S. Senator Al Gore, Sr. of Tennessee – and his mythical “support” of civil rights…. let me set history straight. Al Gore, Sr., together with most of the southern Democrats, voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964.”

    • To cover all the despicable behavior of democrats would require a book. I picked a few favorites.
Al Gore’s father was a serious segregationist, like many democrats that Dementia Joe palled around with for years. I could have also mentioned the federal crime crackdown in 1994 that resulted in disproportionate mass incarceration of African Americans and was referred to by some as the “Biden Crime Bill” because of his strong advocacy, using terms like “thugs” and “predators”.

  2. Hard to believe isn’t it, that the democrats are finally losing support from African Americans and other minority ethnic groups after all they have done for these demographic groups over the years:
-fomented the US civil war, on the side of maintaining slavery
-enacted Jim Crow segregation laws and defended them in the courts
-founded the KKK as their militant wing
-FDR appointed a former klansman to the SCOTUS (Hugo Black) and ordered the internment of US citizens of Japanese ancestry
-Truman ordered the use of TWO nuclear weapons on predominantly civilian targets in Japan
-stood in the schoolhouse doors to prevent integration
-LBJ took the US from an advisor role to a full-blown war in Vietnam that killed 58,000 Americans
-continue to claim that requiring an ID to vote is racist, insisting that People of Color are too lazy, too stupid or have financial priorities that preclude them from obtaining one.
-push for vaccine mandates while at the same time using the phrase “my body, my choice” as a reasoning to defend abortion rights
