Dem Speaker Mitzi Johnson, Prog leader Chesnut-Tangerman ousted from House by surging GOP

Grand Isle Republicans Leland and Michael Morgan

By Guy Page

After narrow Election Day wins, the Vermont Republican House Caucus now stands at 46, with two independents considered likely to vote with them on many issues. Forty-eight is still short of the 51 needed to support a governor’s veto, but much closer than this year’s caucus that couldn’t sustain the veto of the Global Warming Solutions Act.

That’s Vermont Daily’s unofficial tally, as presented in an updated a Vermont Secretary of State spreadsheet containing results from all Vermont statewide, legislative, and county high bailiff races.

Grand Isle Republicans Leland and Michael Morgan tossed incumbent and House Speaker Mitzi Johnson out of office.

John Klar supporter and Republican Sally Achey bested Progressive caucus leader Robin Chesnut-Tangerman in the multi-town Rutland-Bennington district.

GOP challenger Samantha Lefebvre narrowly defeated Democrat incumbent Carl Demrow and a Democratic challenger to take the #2 seat in the Orange-1 district behind incumbent Republican Rodney Graham.

Black Lives Matter flag opponent Art Peterson was the leading vote-getter in Rutland 2. Incumbent Republican Tom Burditt was re-elected. Incumbent Democrat Dave Potter was odd-man out.

All four of the above GOP pickups were closely contested and recounts are considered likely. Other GOP pickups include Paul Martin in Franklin County, Joe Parsons in Newbury, and Samantha Lefebvre in Orange-1.

Most Republican incumbents won re-election. Bob Bancroft (Westford) appears to be the only defeated incumbent, losing to Democrat Alyssa Black.

The numbers of the Senate are little-changed. Incumbents including Gov. Phil Scott ruled in the statewide races. Democrat Molly Gray beat Republican Scott Milne for lieutenant governor. Three “police oversight” high bailiff candidates won their counties. And Donald Trump couldn’t move the needle above his 30% showing in 2016.

  1. Johnson and Tangerman ousted is HUGE

    Both are avid RE leaders.
    Both are OVER-THE-TOP GWSA supporters.

They NEVER answered any of my emails.

Ballot “misplacing”, destroying, not counting, is rampant in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
In the internet age there is no place to hide, as SNOWDON told us 7 years ago.

Here are some sources of information.

Be sure to read the URLs, with all the juicy details.

Here is more INCREDIBLE, WIN-AT-COSTS shenanigans.

America Woke Up Wednesday Morning to Conspiracy Theories About ‘Vertical’ Vote Counts In Michigan, Wisconsin
    https://dailycaller.com/2020/11/04/republicans-donald-trump-scott-baio-benny-johnson-election-conspiracy-theories/

In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, while very few people were awake, Biden SUDDENLY obtained a LEAD in Wisconsin and Michigan, AFTER Trump had been on track to win BOTH states.

While the Wisconsin race has yet to be officially called, there are reports that Biden is up roughly 20,000 votes with all votes counted.
The Trump campaign has already requested a recount.

Biden also had a near 16,000-vote lead in Michigan, though the race is still too close to call.

However, there are tweets circulating that call into question an alleged injection of about 138,239 votes in Michigan and another bump in Wisconsin for Biden.

Voter tallies from both states spiked at around 6 a.m. in favor of Biden, as more mail-in ballots were being counted, according to graphs of live tallies posted by FiveThirtyEight.
BUT NONE OF THESE VOTES WERE FOR TRUMP?

That is very hard to believe

SEE THE GRAPHS OF THE BIDEN BUMPS IN THIS WEBSITE

    Before the bump in Michigan:
    Trump had 2,200,902 votes
    Biden 1,992,356 votes
Trump had a lead of 208,546 votes, which COULD NOT BE OFFSET by mostly Democrat mail-in votes.

    After the bump in Michigan:
    Trump had 2,200,902 votes
    Biden had 2,130,695 votes
Trump had a lead of only 70,307 votes, which COULD EASILY be offset with mostly Democrat mail-in votes

The INSTANT Biden bonus was 138,239 votes
The INSTANT Trump bonus was ZERO votes. Who is stealing the election?

While these are solely “allegations”, Michigan and Wisconsin election officials REFUSE to explain Biden’s dramatic vote tally increase that occurred in both states overnight.

Decision Desk HQ, from which many screenshots of the supposed discrepancy were obtained, claimed that the jump in Michigan was due to a data error.

    What?
All of the bump for Biden, ZERO bump for Trump?

Here is the BS obfuscation from officials:

“It was a simple error from a file created by the state that we ingested. DDHQ does not correct/amend/adjust any state provided file. The state noticed the error and produced an updated count. This happens on election nights and we expect other vote tabulators in MI experienced this error and corrected in real-time as we did,” the company said in a statement, according to Politifact.
The jump in Wisconsin occurred when Milwaukee reported its absentee ballot results, according to USAToday.

  2. Bob Bancroft is a proven entity with a good track record. His qualifications are numerous. It’s a shame and a big loss for Vermont. His opponent whom I was not able to determine what qualifications she has other than a personal agenda will be just another progressive democrat with ideas that harm and not help Vermonters. Thank you Bob for the great job you have done for us.

  3. Congratulations Gentlemen, a great way to start to take Vermont back
from the progressive stranglehold on Montpelier !!

This goes to show if a conservative really wants to win ……. they can.

Vermont’s GOP cannot rest on its laurels, we have just begun to take
the state back…….outstanding effort from all.

Great, it’s time we sent Mitzi packing, with her silver spoon lifestyle !!

  4. On the national level, Dem/Progs were losers.

They lost seats in the US House.
They did not get control of the US Senate
They lost control of the US Supreme Court.

Biden will be hamstrung with his worsening senility.
He does not know where he is.
He has lost his presence of mind.
The US people do not deserve such a “leader” to defend their interests in the US and in the world.

  5. I am reminded of that quote “How do you eat a moose? –one bite at a time..”

How do you take back Vermont?
    One seat at a time.

This is progress and a real reason to be hopeful..
Nice job by all..lets all keep going.

    • Hey….what happened over on your side of the river? I thought for sure you guys might have pulled a Victory for Trump….

These guys on the island is the single best news I’ve heard in a long. long time. Job well done guys, well done, well done.

      • We did great over here Neil.
While Jeanne Shaheen and CD 1 and 2 all kept their seats (all Democrats), guess what We Did; we took back the House, the Senate and the Executive Council !!

        • I understand what you are saying. My question is this, if you took back everything in Red…..how come all the Republicans in NH decided not to Vote for Trump. It makes no sense to me that all the Republicans voted for everybody but Trump…..

          What happened?

          • A different dymnamic may be at play here – qall conservative votes aren’t red? In the general one can vote different tickets if state allows.

          • I would guess that a lot of voter fraud happened- because it doesn’t make common sense at all.
We had a lot of the mail in ballots, like everyone did.. so those were trouble.
We’ve got a ton of outta staters here, that is most likely another issue.

I’ll have to look around and see what else I can find.
There are a lot of articles at granitegrok.com with numbers there.

  6. Congratulations! At least it seems to be moving in the right direction. Don;t slack up on the pressure on the Democrats.
