Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed that the Supreme Court inflicted a “terrible travesty” on America by overturning Roe v, Wade and potentially gutting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) during an interview that aired Tuesday on “CBS Mornings.”
“I think our country is really on the precipice,” Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president in 2016, told co-host Gayle King. “I think that we are looking at not only the erosion of these rights, throwing the door open to unfettered, unregulated gun access, but we’re also looking at dismantling the federal government, how it protects our air and our water and everything else that goes with it.”
The Supreme Court has yet to issue a decision in West Virginia v. EPA, which could determine whether the EPA can regulate greenhouse gas emissions.

The Supreme Court issued 6-3 rulings striking down New York’s “good cause” requirement for issuing pistol permits and upholding Mississippi’s ban on most abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy this month.
“Women are going to die, Gayle,” Clinton said about the ruling overturning Roe v. Wade during the interview. “Women will die.”
Since the leak of a draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in May, dozens of crisis pregnancy centers, pro-life groups and churches have been attacked.
Clinton also called for changing the rules in the United States Senate to ensure passage of liberal priorities.
“I think the filibuster should be eliminated, at the very least for constitutional questions like voting rights, like a woman’s constitutional rights to make decisions about her own body,” Clinton said. “If you can’t lift it completely, lift it for those two things that have huge consequences for our country.”
Clinton did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Caller News Foundation.

First of all, Hillary Clinton is about one of the most hated people in this country- even her own party doesn’t like her at all…even their Black Savior Barry can’t stand the woman.
No one cares what Hillary has at to say about anything.. Bill doesn’t even like her- clearly- from his actions.
Next, what Hillary is *really* showing us is how much the Left goes insane when things, anything at all, is run correctly as designed in America- because it means their tear down didn’t stick!
This is why they went insane of Donald Trump winning- their rigging of the election didn’t work!
Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg had said that although she agreed with Roe vs. Wade, how it got there was wrong.
Abortion should have always been up to the states to do as the people voted in.
The Democrats have been on a plan to tear down America as designed pretty much since right after the ink on the Constitution was dry.
They all go nutty every time they see things not being done in the way THEY want things done which is usually not Constitutional, or some bastardized version of what they believe “The Piece of Paper” says (such as thinking that Abortion is a Constitutional Right). So much is not even lawful..
Hillary is throwing a fit.. as usual. I’m sure she was throwing ashtrays when this decision was announced- which is how she handles disappointment.
Over the decades, Dem/Progs have built a multi-pillar infrastructure of government programs, financed by government, and run by Dem/Progs.
Millions of reliable Dem/Prog votes are involved, as well as several hundred thousand of recession-proof, steady, well-paying jobs
A major pillar of that infrastructure is “woman’s rights”
Abortion was understood to be one of those women’s rights, based on the 1973 SCOTUS ruling regarding Roe vs Wade.
This SCOTUS ruling was judged legally flawed for many years
SCOTUS did not have the votes to correct it, until now.

SCOTUS corrected the error.
That means each sovereign state will make the laws regarding abortion, not the federal government.
This means each sovereign state will have restored a part of its sovereign rights, instead of these sovereign rights being usurped by the federal government
Nationwide, tens of thousands of steady well-paying jobs, and millions of votes, are involved. Abortion rights were seen as a major pillar of the Dem/Prog-run infrastructure.
So when Clinton talks about SCOTUS dismantling the “ federal government”, she really means the centralized command/control of various Dem/Prog-run, Federal-financed infrastructures.
I’d like to see a ruling that takes power away from the unelected deep state and makes congress actually debate the rules we are forced to live by. We would all live better if it was so.

The decision that it wasn’t the supreme courts jurisdiction to be making law was
the correct decision. RvsW was a abomination of law not set thru the proper chain
of command. We are a REPUBLIC not a mob rule democracy and the final word
goes to the states. Don’t like it the door’s always open for you to leave. (just don’t
expect more lenient abortion laws in other countries)
This all happened because the left couldn’t be satisfied with what was given them and had to push the envelope to kill when ever they wished…

What’s almost as bad is these alphabet news channels that bring her on to shoot her mouth off. I mean, if you are waiting for Hillary to say anything remotely intelligent about the constitution or the republic it isn’t ever going to happen. Remember, 57 people who were involved with the Clintons throughout all of the scandals have died mysteriously. But she’s worried about the Supreme Court dismantling the federal government. I guess she forgot that the federal government exists because of the consent of the 50 states not the supreme court.
By now, one has got to think that Hillary Clinton is even an embarrassment to Bill Clinton and the entire Democrat party……Beyond her comments on the SCOTUS, she called half the people in this country ‘deplorable”……..When is she going to learn to be quiet?
Hillary is one who continually breaks of the rule of remaining quiet and have the people think you may be dumb vs speaking out and confirming you’re dumb.
