Another city declares itself a sanctuary city for the unborn

The ordinance’s passage makes Lebanon the first city in Ohio and the 29th city in the nation to declare itself a Sanctuary City for the Unborn. Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio called the proposed ordinance “blatantly unconstitutional” and “just another political power play.”

Republicans release plan to address growing inflation under Biden administration

Notably, the index for used cars and trucks rose 10%, the largest one-month increase since BLS began recording the data in 1953. Food and energy costs rose 0.9% in the month of April, prescription drugs rose 0.5%, and gasoline rose 1.4% during the same month. The energy cost index rose 25% in the previous 12 months.

Arizona Republicans clash over audit of Maricopa County’s election results

At most, the audit could change the winner of Arizona, but it wouldn’t change the national outcome since Biden would retain enough electoral votes to win the presidency. In December, a state judge upheld the Arizona Senate’s authority to subpoena information from Maricopa.
