15 governors oppose Biden plan to ‘conserve’ 30% of all U.S. land and water by 2030

Known as the “30 x 30 plan,” the directive is part of a United Nations Agenda 2030 land and sustainable development goal, which directs nations to conserve land and water to combat climate change. Biden refers to the policy as part of the United State’s acceptance of rejoining the Paris Agreement.

Public school enrollment drops 3 percent nationally compared to previous year

Vermont, Mississippi and Puerto Rico all saw enrollment fall by more than 5%, while Washington, New Mexico, Michigan, Kentucky and Maine lost between 4% and 5% of enrollment. The average 3% drop represents some 1.5 million students according to the preliminary report.

Report: Biden tax hikes would put U.S. at disadvantage against other nations

Biden has proposed several tax increases to fund his several trillion dollars in new spending, most of which has not yet passed through Congress. Those include taxing long-term capital gains as normal income for those making more than $1 million plus an increase in the top marginal tax rate from 37% to 39.6%.

61% of U.S. counties now ‘Second Amendment sanctuaries’

There are 1,930 counties “protected by Second Amendment Sanctuary legislation at either the state or county level,” representing 61% of 3,141 counties and county equivalents in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
