Attorney general’s office defies court-ordered release of documents

Despite a state court ruling last month that the attorney general’s office must release records regarding AGs United for Clean Power, the office has again refused to deliver former Attorney General William Sorrell’s Gmail correspondence with New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Vermont ANR issuing big fines to salvage yards

The Agency of Natural Resources has fined two salvage companies in the past two months for failing to keep up with state permitting and environmental regulations. Fines on the small local businesses total just shy of $35,000 in combined penalties.
