Vermonters to be ‘presumed’ COVID-19 positive if they refuse test, could face quarantines

At least in some scenarios Vermonters could end up being presumed to have COVID-19 if they refuse to take the PCR test, the state’s secretary of Human Services said last week at a governor’s press conference.

National experts question social bans like Vermont’s

COVID-19 update: No Vermonters on ventilators, school sports postponed, statewide recovery could take a year

Twenty-nine Vermonters are hospitalized with Covid-19, with three in intensive care, and none on ventilators, according to the Vermont Health Department dashboard and Health Commissioner Mark Levine.

Scott: Restrictions can be lifted as most vulnerable are vaccinated

“What we’re hoping is that we can start to reduce the restrictions once people get vaccinated. First we have to have a vaccine okayed by the FDA. And then we will have to have a quantity of vaccines distributed widely enough … to have enough effect,” Gov. Scott said.
