There will be consequences. Crime will follow. Young women will lose control of their bodily autonomy to pimps and traffickers. The state will insist — as it already does — that their efforts to stop that will continue, and they will.

Going into town meeting break there is still much up in the air in the legislative session. The Senate Natural Resources Committee moved an imperfect Act 250 bill that would include the road rule provision that will likely draw a veto threat from the governor.
