Europe’s vulnerability stems from climate hysteria. There’s nothing wrong (except maybe the cost) with deploying wind and solar as Europe had done. There’s everything wrong with banning fracking and refusing new leases for oil and gas before a green alternative is in place.

My conclusion to all of this is that if we do not hit the pause button, we should at least adopt a “go slow” approach and take the time to make sure that EVs are a solution and not just another problem.
At the recent Tunbridge World’s Fair I was heartened by the numerous patriotic T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies that proudly displayed the colors of our American creed — flags, but also red, white and blue slogans of Americana at its best.

Where will Vermont get the millions of dollars to pay people to switch to EVs? With TCI unavailable to bring in the big bucks, and federal pandemic spending running out, Vermonters are going to have to pay for this.
