In Vermont and Kansas, babies aren’t people until they leave their mothers’ wombs

Kansas wishes to ignore fetal personhood in the name of women’s second-trimester abortions, no matter how much the babies suffer. Vermont seeks to blindly do the same, through the third trimester and delivery. But not all Americans are blind.
