Montpelier Roxbury Public School district partners with online therapy provider

Online therapy provided by Talkspace is available for any student who is at least 13 years old, all staff members and their dependents. The service is funded through a federal pandemic-relief bill that sent $60,000 to the district for the partnership. That way, the service is free for users.

Vermont announces bonus round of state tax credits

The Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development says $800,000 in state income tax credits are being made available beginning next year for projects designed to enhance the state’s history while improving building safety at aging historic commercial and community structures.

CPAC rates the most ‘conservative’ state legislatures – New Hampshire Ranks 31st, Vermont 47th

As for numbers, New Hampshire ranked 31st. Better than most, with room for improvement, but excellent given our proximity to Connecticut (41), Vermont (47th), Rhode Island (48), and Massachusetts (50).

Roper: Climate plan’s costs are real. Savings, not so much

The “savings” being promised by the Climate Council if we spend the multiple tens of billions of dollars necessary to implement their programs are largely based on something called “the social cost of carbon.” What is this? Well, like Murray’s caddying fee, there won’t be money.

Roe does not need to be “codified” in Vermont; abortion is legal here in Vermont and always will be. But Article 22 is not Roe; on the contrary, it is so extreme that it would contravene the very Roe decision it purports to protect.

Republicans maintain edge in battle for House, Senate, gubernatorial races

CNBC released its “All-America Economic Survey,” which showed Republicans have a 2-point advantage over Democrats, with 48% saying they prefer Republicans control Congress, compared to 46% preferring Democrats.
