Today Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos encouraged Vermonters who plan to vote early by mail in the November 8 General Election to mail their ballots no later than October 31, to ensure adequate time for their mailed ballot to reach the Town Clerk.

Director of Global Warming Solutions Act calls transportation recommendations ‘unviable’

At the very least, when the new legislature convenes in January it should repeal the lawsuit provision of the GWSA. It is not fair or good policy to stick taxpayers with potentially millions in legal fees failed to implement programs that were “impossible” and “unviable” from the get-go.

In all seriousness, we do have logical options. Please educate yourselves and vote, unless of course you already have, because you decided your candidate based on the letter beside their name regardless of their history or values.

National Assessment of Educational Progress releases 2022 results — Vermont’s performance declines again

Students showed a decline in average scale scores compared to Vermont’s 2019 results. While it is fair to conclude that the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are reflected in student performance, that explanation does not tell the whole story. Vermont students’ performance on NAEP has been generally declining for over a decade.
