Report: Benefit, job cuts resulting from minimum wage hike offset increased pay

“A minimum wage hike may produce an immediate wage hike for many of the 2.2 percent of hourly workers who are impacted, but the higher labor costs force employers to cut non-wage benefits, like free meals, flexible leave arrangements, and health insurance coverage.”

Buttigieg, Warren, and Sanders out raise Biden during third quarter

Sanders raised $25.3 million during the third quarter, which lasts from July to September, Buttigieg raised 19.1 million, and Biden raised $15 million. Warren raised $24.6 million, she announced Friday, and said she has $25.7 million cash on hand.

Opinion: New York City fine for saying ‘illegal alien’ an assault on the Constitution
