3 out of 4 COVID deaths in VT were among the vaccinated, but 9 out of 10 in NH were among unvaccinated?

Vermont and Wales appear to have a similar problem. Not COVID so much as the reporting about COVID. The BBC says nearly 13% of confirmed cases in hospital are unvaccinated. Vermont says, eight of the 33 deaths in September were not vaccinated. Do you see what they did there?

Covid rising faster among vaxxed Vermonters

Positive Covid-19 test cases are up in highly-vaccinated Vermont while declining nationally, Vermont Department of Health reported Tuesday. Covid-19 positive cases last week were higher per capita among vaccinated Vermonters than unvaccinated.

Maine Republicans seek to relax COVID-19 vaccine mandate due to rationing of care at hospitals

GOP lawmakers said they’ve spoken to hospital executives who say they are at risk from shutting down as a result of health care workers leaving their jobs over the mandate. They pointed out that the Central Maine Medical Center has suspended some pediatric and other medical services.

Federal judge rules New York must provide religious exemptions for vaccine mandate

A federal judge ruled Tuesday that New York state must recognize healthcare workers’ religious exemptions to the state’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to court documents. The ruling follows Gov. Kathy Hochul’s statement denying the legitimacy of religious exemptions.

Ambitious Vermont climate warriors seek to eliminate Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays in schools and replace them with “climate vacations” that will “prevent shopping stress and pollution from manufacturing merchandise.”

Vermont cows must fart 50% less by 2030, climate council learns

Hill informed the council that 70% of agriculture GHG emissions comes form “enteric fermentation,” which is the politely scientific term for cow burps and gas releases. This, Hill proclaimed, must be reduced by just under 50% by the year 2030.

Gov. Phil Scott and the Vermont Department of Health Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Patsy Kelso both insist that Covid-19 immunity by vaccination is safer than, or at least a valuable addition to, natural immunity.

Gov. Abbott bans all COVID-19 vaccine mandates in Texas

The ban prohibits “any entity,” including schools, private businesses, and local governments, from compelling an individual to receive the COVID-19 vaccine if they object due to reasons of “personal conscience,” such as religious beliefs.
