Vermont has launched the Vermont Housing Improvement Program to bring housing units back online by investing in existing, but under-utilized structures. The program, funded using federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, will invest a total of $5 million into the state’s aging housing stock.
Gov. Phil Scott and Department of Financial Regulation Commissioner Michael Pieciak announced Tuesday an emergency regulation issued by the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation requiring health insurers to cover the costs of COVID-19 antigen at-home tests, commonly referred to as “rapid” tests.
“Over the last year while serving as your Lt. Governor, I’ve spent time in every corner of our state and met with hundreds of Vermonters. I know firsthand the challenges we’re facing, and I’m ready to fight like hell for our state in Congress.”
If we do nothing now, it will mean even greater and harder benefit cuts down the road as the unfunded liabilities continue to mount. Today’s $5.6 plus billion unfunded liability will look like chump change if we continue to kick the can down the road.
We support Trump because Trump believes in our American ideals. His actions conveyed his beliefs that our government belongs to the people, that personal liberty is integral to our prosperity as a nation, and less government is better because it exerts less coercion on our lives.
“Socialism ties with ‘the federal government’ as the lowest rated of the six terms included in the 2021 survey,” Gallup said. “In contrast, Americans are most positive toward small business and free enterprise.”
“As of today, we are going to announce a first in the nation measure, our health commissioner will announce a vaccine mandate for private sectors employers across the board,” de Blasio added. “All private sectors employers in New York City will be covered by this vaccine mandate, as of December 27th.”
Gov. Phil Scott announced that Vermont has committed $7 million through the Agency of Commerce and Community Development and the Agency of Natural Resources toward the $25 million appropriated to clean up brownfield sites across the state.
If more spending does not improve academic performance, then we need to focus on actionable steps that enable each Vermont student to improve learning results in math, reading and science. Nothing worthwhile is achieved by simply throwing money at it.
All of the above and more will be either halted with the next election, or it will be allowed to continue and produce a United States of America that we have never seen. Which will it be folks?
